What do you look for when choosing your estate agent?
The results of a recent survey by the Property Academy are interesting. The survey found that ‘Confidence in ability’ was rated highly by more prospective sellers than any other single quality – 87% of sellers, in fact.
Perhaps surprisingly, only 16% of sellers based their choice of agent on fees.
And trust has become more important in recent years. 71% of respondents placed ‘Likeability and Trust’ in their top five criteria for choosing an agent in 2019, while back in 2009 just over half (57%) chose their agent based on trust.
