We took a 2nd look when we saw this one bed flat available for sale on Larchwood, Hala at just £78,000. We were also pleasantly surprised to see it’s in relatively reasonable order.

Take a look at the details. The kitchen is original but it’s not a bad size. The lounge is spacious and there is even storage with built in wardrobes in the bedroom and a useful cupboard in the hallway. There is even a parking space.
The management fees at Larchwood are advertised as low ( there are no costly lifts and the development is realistically not that old ).
What do you think? We know we could rent this easily at £450 pcm. It’s perfectly positioned for staff at the hospital and universities. Even if you paid the asking price, you’d see a gross annual yield of 6.9%
