1st October 2021 – Changes to Notice Periods

As of today, 1st October 2021, notice periods for both Section 21 and Section 8 have returned to pre-pandemic time scales.

This means that if a landlord would like to regain possession of their property and no tenancy conditions have been breached, the minimum notice they must give is 2 months

Where there has been a tenancy breach, the amount of notice depends on the grounds we are trying to use to regain possession as outlined below:
