Lancaster family home with great potential for buy to let

It’s not often we post a more expensive property as our investment highlight of the week,  however this home on Bay Horse Drive in Lancaster caught our eye.

This 4 bed detached home is an excellent price, especially when you consider our own agency sold a neighbouring 4 bed home to an investor for £222,500 just 18 months ago.  We now rent that one out for £850 pcm.  It was snapped up quickly too!

Lancaster has a shortage of larger family homes to let.  We are a large university city, and we find high earning academics do not always wish to buy.  They do however still wish to rent a spacious home in a prime location.   We simply don’t have enough of these to suit demand.

This home will need some updating.  However when you consider the potential equity growth too,  we think this should be seriously looked at.

I’ll be certainly telling my current landlords about it,  especially the investor we already rent several out for!
