The rental market in Lancaster and Morecambe is on fire – fantastic news for local landlords!
Since we returned to the office after the first lockdown in late May we have been inundated with applications and enquiries – over 2,000 in fact! That means that in the last 9 months over 2,000 households have been looking to move into or within the Lancaster and Morecambe area. One recent example was a two-bedroom townhouse in Beaumont – we have over 100 applications on this one alone!
With so many people looking for properties there has inevitably been a shortage on rental properties as we can only let each property to one household.
We have seen high interest across all property types but in particular, families are looking to move to get more space – so three and four-bedroom family homes are in exceptional demand.
